Own Godfather, rented Scarface. Godfather FTW!

 You didn't play the Godfather. I don't know anyone that has actually played the game that didn't like it. The problem is getting people to try it out.

You have to remember that some people can think for themselves, and don't need reviews to tell them what they should like. The Godfather is very good, very underrated. The Scarface reviews were generous, in my opinion.

The biggest issue with Scarface is the camera can get you killed quickly if you don't have it aimed just right when the screen moves from cut scene to in game. If you stay prepared for it (or use the cheats) it's a more enjoyable game though not as good as Godfather. I will say I much prefer to drive in Scarface than Godfather. The numerous allyes, backroads, parks, etc...made cruising much more enjoyable. Though 1 on 1 fighting is far superioro in Godfather.

I think Godfather is one of those games that truly shines best on Wii because of the motion controls. Since it got overlooked as blah on all other platforms, it was barely looked at on Wii but it shouldn't be missed. The beat downs are a guilty pleasure of near epic proportions.

Something else that must be noted about Scarface....the soundtrack.    Holy cow is it loaded with some great stuff.   Those songs would cost you over $50.00 if you bought them off iTunes alone.

yeaaa ign gave scarface 8.5 compared to godfathers 8.0 but everyone says godfather is better... I memba because I asked you llot before

I thought scarface was a great game, sorts out most of the problems with gta games.
Lost in the road need a ride, pull out your phone and your driver will bring one of your choice. Same goes if you are stranded in the ocean. Your driver will bring you a boat from your collection.
The interface is neat & Clean, all of your gang options are available from one menu.
Most of the missions are great and the game really takes off once you have completed introductions are have captured your first front. The driving missions are really well scripted and are a treat to play.
The Balls system makes a huge difference during combat missions. With the Wii mote and free aiming you can rack up a lot of balls and enter blood rage a lot faster. Once you enter blood rage, each shot counts for a kill and you regain health with kills.
The heat system introduced in the game lets up bribe cops and gangs to lower the heat on you. The turf system is a lot more solid and once you capture the storefront you no longer have to peddle drugs on the street.
Successful drug runs can net you anywhere between $3-15 million.
Exotics or unlockables can be bought with the money and add a lot to replay value, each exotic unlocked increases your reputation and sometimes helps tony's abilities and add car's boats to your garage/marina.
Shooting in vehicles is no longer restricted to a drive by and feels amazing.
Laundering money is fun and

Be warned though, Like the movie, the game is an F-Bomb. Although "Say Hello To My Little Friend" brings back a lot of great memories. The voice overs are great and the sound track is a great mix of 80's and contemporary tracks.

I would call this game GTA on steroids, I ran through this game in 35-40 hours (after using cheats ) Some of the missions are frustrating though. The Assasin, Enforcer, Driver and Assasin missions are fun to play though for a change and should add a few hours to the gameplay,

8.5/10 i'm docking it half a point because Radical could have done so much more, tony's mansion is great, but there is not much we can do during our time outs, too few weapons, Impossible to loose cops once your cop heat is max (they hunt you down once the feds come into the scene)
