Forums - Nintendo - My Two Cents-Resident evil Darkside chronicles...

@jeffo, you know thats not what i mean. After Dead Rising i shouldn't have to explain people's attitudes regarding Western Capcom dev.

I really wish Miyamoto could have worked harder to not just get the MH3 license.

Reggie said it but no one (namely the big companies) is doing anything about it.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Dead Rising Wii was also a lazy piece of shit cash-in title. Umbrella Chronicles, on the other hand. was good, RE4 Wii Edition is the best version of the game, Zack and Wiki was good, and so on, and there's really nothing saying that this won't be a quality title either. We really know next to nothing about it at this point, so people need to calm down and, instead of bringing out the torches and pitchforks, actually wait for some solid information before judging the game. Just because it has Chronicles in the title, doesn't mean that it's an on-rails shooter. And even if it is an on-rails shooter, that doesn't mean it can't be a good game.

I'm not gonna get it. Umbrella Chronicles was ok, i don't need another one of these.
We may have got House of the Dead from SEGA but we also got Madworld & we're getting Conduit.
Capcom is basically giving us this crap & putting the good stuff on HD consoles, no thank you.

I guess I'm in the minority of people who was completely underwhelmed by the first UC. When you hear some PR dude say Wii owners to be happy very soon and then they give us something us Wii owners have pretty much been bombarded with laltely its hard not to feel disappointed. Everyone points out the sales of UC but the port of RE4 sold more..Plus RE4 is like Wii's ONLY TPS.

There seems to be this carrot that is held over Wii owners heads that is not held over any other consoles owners heads.."Well buy this game or it proves our idea correct..even though its a budget title with not even HALF the resources of the HD counterparts" Fuck that. I remember WAY back Capcom was talking about RE5 Wii and in an interview they stated that sales of RE4 (port) and UC (an average spin-off) would be indicators of the RE market on Wii. Both games went platinum and the best we get is This? Another On-rails shooter.

Even Matt tries to do the same propaganda "Buy this or else" I won't be forced to buy a game I don't want...on second thought, problem solved really..no need to rant..Just like those NMIF fuckers bitching about Madworld..If you don't like it don't buy it..simple as that. You know what I feel better now. People who enjoyed the first one will have another Wii title to add to their wanted list. And those that didn't like that title, but loved RE4 with Wii controls can look forward to...Yeah see I'm pist again. Ah fuck it.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

'Spontaneously combust' ... ROFL...Good one.

It would be a lot easier to take this if they could just get Tatsunoko vs Capcom through the legal hoops already.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I just hope Headstrong and Platinum make sequels or other games for Wii because neither Konami or Capcom are going to do it for us.

EA is making an on rails shooter so i personally would love to slap them on to the list too.

Or SF2 on VC, that might have helped. Frankly they are the WORST company for making and marketing Wii games all gen. Legendary waste of time
