It looks like it's gonna be Re2 remake, but with guided first person experience.

I still don't get this whole "cash in" angle.
Is it a cash in because it will recount story events from existing games in the series? Because then REmake was just as cheap cash in.

Is it a cash in because it's a rail shooter? Because then RE:UC was a cheap cash in and that game rocked.

Or is it a cash in because Railshooters are so short? Because Umbrella Chronicles had hours and hours of gameplay.

Is it a cash in because it isn't RE 5? The game that was announced for PS3 and 360 long before the Revolution had even been unveiled? Because that's just silly.

I'd just like someone to explain to me how a sequel to a very successful and fun game that had lots of effort and polish is going to be a cheap cash in.

I have to assume its because they wanted a different game. "Cheap cash-in" has simply become the default insult for any Wii game. Anytime a game is announced for the Wii there is a collection of people screaming cheap cash-in simply because they don't like the idea of the game. I seem to recall people saying de Blob and Boom Blox were cheap cash-ins as well.

Sick of this bait n switch shit.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

It's a cheap cash in because rail shooters are fast and easy to make, on top of that the majority of RE fans would much rather have a third person survival horror than a light gun game.

aren't we all

Where the hell is the switch? This is a sequel to a million selling game. I'm surprised people weren't expecting a follow up.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

wait has this been confirmed as a rail shooter? (not that im complaining)

RE4 on Wii sold more than UC..Where is the follow up to that title on the Wii? Oh wait it's on the HD consoles..forget it why would people be pist about that?

Any game can be made fast and cheap. Good games take time because there is extra effort put into making them enjoyable. This applies to any genre. I bet at least a million people were hoping for this sequel to a popular game.
