Hell no.
I'd rather the coverage be more thorough on what we've got right now (more reviews!) then adding another "platform".
No, I generally don't care that much for mobile games, and I don't it will be worth the effort, compared to focusing more on the platforms we are already covering.
Of course, this may change in the future, but right now, this is were I stand.

The secret Metal Gear game was actually Metal Gear Touch, coming to the iphone. Yes real games are coming out for the iphone (super monkey ball, Sim City, Force Unleashed and others have already made the trip over).

Absolutely we should. It's better to be ahead of the curve than behind it. I don't even think this deserves a vote to be honest because people are merely going to vote based on their own interests, but covering this can bring in new readership to the site and shine light on these games to make the current readership more akin to checking these games out.
I think we should stick with the iPod Touch/iPhone games though because it's the most viable mobile platform for games.
no, we should improve our console coverage first. Sure we have a lot of reviews, but why not review almost all the games instead of just some of them.

this is a reasonable answer, but I still say no because I'd rather see us improve what we already do. Too many areas of this site aren't that great because someone implimented something, then just abandoned it to make a new area.

The thing is, we probably already have contributors playing these games and merely don't have any avenue to write a review because we simply aren't going to accept them. I'm not saying to focus on this, I mean shit, we take in PSP reviews and that hasn't lead much of anywhere either. Contributing is on a volunteer basis anyways, so reviews are only going to get written if somebody wants to write it. I don't see a reason to deny someone of that for the simple sake of consolidating, because if that's the case, we should cut our losses with the PSP also.
It'll also help with Q&A's which aren't coming in so often because smaller devs working on iPhone games are probably more willing to give us the time of day than Nintendo is.
