55,000 in the US 1st week

I don't see this selling more than 300k in its lifetime. I love the game, but seriously, it doesn't have the game length, appeal or the online play needed for games to shine this generation.

Alot of people were much lower, especially considering you should add another 20k on top of the US numbers thus far. Im confident 80k is still fair for 1st US week, including another 1/2 week.

57k is phenomenal, better than COD WaW, better than HOTD OK, better that NMH and Z&W, and its not even a full week yet. Just wait.

Side note, RE games 1st week were over 70k but i dk how much of a full week that included. Irrelivent regardless bcoz they are known brands.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Hopefully it will get 100K in the first week when the Others numbers come in.

It says 10th , but I think it actually came out on the 13th.....

I got it on Wednesday the 11th, so the 10th sounds right.
