Right, i recently beat the game a second time... this time on "hardcore" difficulty setting.

And the fecking thing didnt give me the hardcore achievement. Why? Is there something else i should do?

Help would be appreciated

Did you have it on hardcore from beginning to end without ever changing the difficulty? Did you have your notifications off? Where you offline when you got the achievement? Did you manually check your achievements to see if you got it and didn't notice?

It could be any of these things

did u change the difficulty at any point in the game ?

Never changed difficulty. Started on hardcore from the start in the Normandy. Was online. Notifications on.
Even reloaded my save and beat Saren to see if it was a simple bug... still no achievement

I don't know then, sometimes achievements take sometime to show up. Give it some time and check again. If you still don't have it after that then you can always come cry on my shoulder :)

btw what class did you use for shepard? I just beat the game on normal for the first time last week and I used soldier class. The only problem with that was I had to make sure I always had the best armor and weapons since his combat efficiency for soldier class pretty much revolves around that.

kinda sucks, you might of missed a certain part.

Did you save the settings when you changed the difficulty?

I changed mine to hardcore and pressed B to go back without saving. I thought the game seemed easy and when the achievement didn't pop up, I checked and said 'Fuck!'.

So you started a brand new game, and kept the difficulty the same throughout? Then I think you are just unlucky

all jokes aside, that pretty much sucks. If it doesn't show up you always have an excuse to play it through once more .
