Forums - Nintendo - No More Heroes / Red Steel 2-in-1

two amazing games.

Around the Network

I heard somewhere that they're doing the same thing with Super Monkey Ball and Sonic Secret Rings.

What's black and white and red all over?

MadWorld.

reminds me of when I bought my Xbox 1 ,it came with a 2 games on one disc JSRF and Sega GT 2002,JSRF was freaking awesome GT was crap, this is nice for NMH sales but red steel sucked.

Red steel even if free is a rip off

I think it's a good deal. If you don't have either game but was considering at least one of them, it's probably worth getting. I liked Red Steel but didn't play through it but will someday. I was thinking about No More Heroes and if I didn't already have this, I'd pick it up for sure. And as to why it was bundled together, these two games fit with each other the best obviously.

I'll come up with something better eventually...

Unless you own one of those games, buy that shit day one. 2 great games for a low low price

No More Heroes is a nice game and all but why would I pay $10 extra for it?

Because SOME of us payed 50 for NMH and Red Steel when they first came out. So instead of 100 dollars, it's 30. That's a great deal.

So will these bundles be counted for both NHM and Red Steel's sales here? I hope so, I want to see NMH's sales pick up a little more.

Is Red Steel a good game?

Heavens to Murgatoids.

@ BTFeather - Red Steel is a good game, but not a perfect one.

The swordplay is dissapointing, It's nothing even approaching 1:1, which was a dissapointment when I bought it, the game also is split up into gunfights and swordfights, rather than simply having the sword as an extra weapon you can switch to.

The plot is interesting, sound and graphics are not technically brilliant, but both set the mood of the game very well - if you like a game with good art direction then Red Steel doesn't dissapoint.

The multiplayer is excellent, especially if you get 4 plaers, because then there's this awesome mode where you each get instructions from the speaker in the Wiimote - first to complete theirs wins the round. I would say it is worth purchasing at $30 for the two games
