Forums - Nintendo - Madworld IGN UK Review

Because its fun, you don't like torturing bad guys, shooting them in the leg and then a headshot?

This is not your game, Forget about it.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

i need to rip a heart out and stomp on a skull till it explodes.

i need to do that

i need to make any excuse possible to not buy a Wii game

i need to convince other interested parties to listen to me so i can play my part in contributing to the failure of games on a system i selfishly want to fail

i need mature Wii games to fail because i am afraid of the competition

i need to play the game but i want attention so i critisize a small aspect of it, like the colours

i need a headache tablet

I do like doing that, but I like -needing- to do that.

If I am doing large combos when a few hits only are needed, I am wasting my time. All the extra is pointless except to be flashy, in which case I may as well watch a movie.

In order to fight the next boss you need a certain amount of points, so you will need to do that..

The quickest way to the boss is to rack up points quickly.

good review. but whats with the low wii games scores. its like it illegal to give anything not made by nintendo over a 9. lift your game reviewers

It's more a case of high budget HD games being consistently overrated. Great presentation just doesn't equal a fun game.

I don't understand your poitn of view at all. In Super Mario 3, you can find three flutes in the first world and then skip automatically to world 8. So you don't NEED to play the end of world 1 and worlds 2 to 7 but I still do it because I want to experience the game.

You sound like you're on some sort of time schedule and that you have to play through as many games as you can before the timer runs out.

This.

You can only move to the next boss when you have a certain amount of points, which will be considerably easier, and funnier, getting by using combos.

Hmm, a good reason.

@ Kylie

That's like saying, why bother with the Sphere Grid in Final Fantasy X. You can beat the game without it.

Yes, you don't need to use the guns and plasmids to kill the normal enemies, but it sure as hell is easier.

Why stick a tyre over a guy, then stick a pole through him, then throw him onto a wall of spikes and kill him when can just throw onto the spikes straight from the off, or stick the pole through him and that is it?

I don't know if you're just trying to prove a point now, but by reading more of the thread, you would know that there is in fact a 'point'.

EDIT: Made the quote smaller xP
