LOL, the DS probably needed on more sale to reach 49 million.

Unless you have some indication that the Wii will be selling more consoles in Japan this week than normal I would venture a guess that (once the Japanese sales are in) the front page will read either 10.98 or 10.99 million. I don't expect the Japanese numbers to push it over quite yet. Next week for sure though.

Sqrl: The fact that the Wii jumped 340k units before even including Japan (last week, Wii was 10.57m) seems to indicate high likelihood for an unusual boost in Japanese sales as well.
My guess is MP3 boosted the sales right up there.

Actually, both Famitsu and Media Create are reporting a drop in hardware sales across the board. Wii
Apparently, it was a holiday the week before, which explains the huge drop off the week after.
So, the Wii won't cross 11 mil till this week's data comes in next week.
