i might just take your advice.. i preordered lair.. gamestop called me today to pick it up.. even though i still hadnt made a decision whether or not i still wanted it or not.... those bad reviews finally got to me... i would hate wasting 60 bucks..

Leo, I don't think a single webstore giving weird, ambiguous information is cause to suspect the game has been released early, especially since the whole internet isn't raving about it as well.

I mean, even I'm not entirely familiar with back ordered, so it's entirely plausible for a less educated native speaker to make a mistake with the term. =P

It's no longer back ordered now except for a used copy. I think Gamestop only has it for sale online right now.

Interesting Lair is being released today by Gamestop. Maybe it's a case similar to Bioshock, breaking the street date.

Warhawk all the way. It's a phenomenal game and so much fun to play. As soon as I get done catching up here, I'm jumping on my ps3 and playing till bedtime. :)

Lair though.... looks really really bad... Not "bad good", but "bad bad". Looking at the video on the warhawk disc, it looks like a ps1 game for the gameplay graphics, but the CGI cutscenes do look gorgeous. I think warhawk being online will give you much more playback ability by giving you the chance to hone your skills and climb the leaderboards.

Until lair gets gametrailers reviews I wont be buying it. I will get warhawk. Amazing the psn update, best one yet I say. Im thinking of getting tekken 5 online rather than warhawk for now anyway..
