Forums - Sony - 20 minutes with Killzone 2 and already two game stopping bugs?

You're unlucky from my point of view - as I've played through campaign twice plus lots of online with no issues whatsoever.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I swear, you have the shittiest luck with these things. :P

My game only froze once, during multiplayer. It also locked up for a number of the people I was playing with.

Scripting also went haywire for me only once, and the end of the... sixth level? When Rico didn't go where he was supposed to.

Edit:  And I wrote that first line before reading your last line.  xD

I could understand the shitty luck I have if I was trying to break the game, but I get these things just through normal play.  ;_;

Same as making music with the freezing, but i didn't have any script issues. The most was the npc getting lost and then suddenly being where he was supposed to be XD (or maybe it was me who got lost)

Check out my game about moles ^

I've only had loading issues, was killed by an invisible wall cause my rocket hit it, and my game started having lines go through the picture... making an annoying noise the whole time as well.

Oh and I found a lot of glitching through walls and cover, I was already pretty annoyed at the cover system then finding glitches made my mood worse lol.

ive had slowdowns to where it looked like it was gonna freeze during the auto save parts. but it never did. its just bad luck

I've played the campaign twice and numerous hours online. No problems what so ever. None.

On a PC that would indicate a problem with your graphics card and most probably its RAM dieing. Hopefully this isn't the case for you though!

I've only encountered one bug and this was the sound not starting up until I fired a weapon in a MP match. It is nowhere near the buggy mess that Fallout 3 was, but that is more forgivable given the open world nature of the game.

Playing: InFamous, Super Robot Taisen OG Saga, Modern Warfare 2

So, now, we blame luck for freezing?

You know, in computing. It's either zero or one. There's no such thing as maybe zero, or maybe one.

Played campaign only once so far, lasted just short of 11 hours and I experienced some slowdown in the 2nd to last area. The fight leading all the way up to where you battle Radec. What a fun battle.

I also had one weekend where the rain kept me bottled up inside and no joke, I played Killzone 2 multiplayer for around 10 hours, with bathroom and some food breaks here and there of course. I had one instance where I had a crash and needed to restart the PS3. Other than that I have experienced no issues what so ever.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

The biggest issue I had with the singleplayer was that your AI buddies sucked at keeping themselves alive.

lol you must have a defective PS3 or something, you seem to be having a lot of problems with it.
