It's a complete ripoff of Gears of War, but an IMPROVED ripoff of Gears of War, so I'd say yes.

Time Crisis best cover system imo lol =)
The movie Wanted got boring in the middle and dragged on a bit but this game looks interesting, and I could use a good TPS.
You cant even change your side u aim on in Gears i seriously hate that it pisses me off when my opponent is to left and im aiming over my right shoulder lol. I just want to switch the side!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
| darthdevidem01 said: For too long, games based off movies were utter trash; though you can also say the same for movies based off games (see Max Payne & Doom). Fortunately, these games have been progressing through time; the bad part is that it has been taking too much time. Many developers have proclaimed their games to be the first to break the chain of horrible movie based games, yet none have succeeded since probably 007 Golden Eye. Probably things will change for the better. Fact, it has been improving, and once again, it’s the 007 series to break the chain with their Quantum of Solace; unfortunately, it seems it was a little too late. No one seems to be interested in games based on movies anymore even though the games may be great. Ghost Busters already seems to be another great game on a huge movie based franchise from the 80’s. The action of the game seems just as good, even better than that of the movie. The developers of the games made the right decision with the game play; it allows you to explore many areas at once, though not entirely a free roam game, it still is very good. The trend is looking to continue with the upcoming release of Wanted: Weapons of Fate. The cover system in Wanted shows a level of realism not seen anywhere else before. You can go behind cover and instead of the simple side to side action we see in most 3rd person shooters, you have the option to use the bullet time action effect when coming out of a cover which is amazing and adds to the experience of the game in a positive perspective. Another great aspect of the cover system is that if there is someone else directly behind the location where you’re covering, you can use a quick time action effect which is a close combat with the enemy that allows you to knife him or just simply melee him for the kill; unseen on any game before. Although Wanted has all the features of a normal cover system using game and more, the game isn’t as complex as many may be thinking it is. In Gears you have free mobility from side to side and you’re allowed to hop over your cover if possible which is great and simple but that’s all you’re allowed to do excluding blind fire; but Wanted adds so much more animation and fluidity to their style of cover that you feel like you’re controlling the action in the movie itself. Everything in the game play seems flawless and no less. The story for Wanted is already great so if they could just nail the game play right, it will be a true success; fortunately it seems as though they have got the game play right so everything is set and go. Wanted is due to release later this year and if the developers can tighten up the controllers just a bit more, the game will be top notch. View this video below.

Gears still has the best cover system. Gears of War has realistic cover for wartime shooting (IE: Blindfire, cover to cover change, and peek shooting). This game is completely different. That guy who did the review is a moron. The game doesn't look bad, but it's not a wartime shooter. It's almost like the guy expects the characters in Gears to do smooth moves while ducking hundreds of bullets coming at you from various angles. He thinks the games cover system beats Gears because it has Bullet time? This guy is a complete moron. Who uses bullet time if you're trying to give the consumer the feeling that hes at war? This wanted game gives the player a huge advantage over the AI. That review was had the worst speech i've also heard in a review as well. "THEY KNOW WHERE YOU AT!" "OMG HE SHOT AT DAT SPOT!" LOOK AT DAT!" It's amazing how some people can afford to make a gaming website and cannot afford to spend more time in school.
Here's the problem, you put Hip-Hop Gamer show as your source. He/the people at write the articles don't know what they're talking about.
Im really interested in this game now.... this is one of the verry rare instances that a game was not released at the same time as the movie... they are actually taking their time and finishing it.... so i will be keeping my eye on this and its revews....
im pretty sure i heard sum good things from IGN as well...
Omg!
Please stop sourcing shitty news sources like hiphopgamer...
Seriously I think you're the only one who reads that crap and then brings it in these forums..
Keep our forums clean, hiphopgamer should be banned from vgchartz.com!!!
