i think it was a clever thing to do. they sold more ps2's because, more profit, a few million less ps3's less losses. I think sony should just bring out BC ps3 bundles now and then. Then full BC with the PSthree

Backwards compatibility was a HUGE deal for me! I got it with my MGS4 bundled 80 gig, but it should have been as standard as a hard drive. The PS3 was several steps forward and several steps back, as far as development decisions go.

yeah that sux they did it i was upset that they announced that the 60g would be gone in the summer of 07 so i went out and bought one for 499 even though it was awhile b4 i bought games for it i just wanted to have b/c of the B/C

they should atleast have a top of the line model that includes B/C hopefully one day they'll add it so my future ps3 fans can enjoy it like i am
