Starcraft ,please .....

There is ZERO anecdotal evidence about MGSIV coming to the 360 .The only evidence is that fucking Kojima san himself showed in the Sony booths in both E3 and Leipzig GC and stated that the game was exclusive for the PS3 .And when the rumours were more insistent about a 360 announcement he just came to scene and announced another MGSIV game (Online ) exclusively for PS3 .IF you call anecdotal evidence to some posters in xbox blogs saying it will come and that their insider sources tell so.......well you can comfort in the rumours while we enjoy the game .For gods sake ,Peter Moore himself the master of FUD and BS said that MGSIV woulndt appear in the 360 .Now I see ,Kojima himself says its exclusive to the PS3 and appears in Sony booths in most game conventions ,Moore says it wont appear in their system ,but your "anecdotal evidence " issued from some xbox blogs with obscure rumours and reasonings over nothing (as ...360 as more userbase so then the game should appear on 360 ....after that logic it should appear in PS2 ,DS and Wii that are the consoles that sell the most ) weights more for you .As I said ,be happy with the rumours ,that all you will get from this game without a PS3 .

Bioshock ,on the other hand ,is another thing .In addition to the same rumours about it coming to the PS3 as with MGSIV you have some additional hints .First Moore himself said at E3 that Bioshock was exclusive "this year " ,second the game was originally scheduled to appear on PS3 ,third 2K publishes all their games on Sony plattforms ,fourth there was a PS3 build that some people as gametrailers and playfrance actually saw running as early as january this year .Fifht the PC demo actually mentions a PS3 version .Etc etc

First Kojima does not have any say to whether that franchise should be on a particular platform. Konami does, not Kojima. Everyone believes that since Kojima has his own development team that he makes the decision. Considering Konami publishes the game. Konami president is the one that makes the decision and if the Konami marketing or president thinks it should be on the 360, then it should.

I still don't see MGS4 appearing on the 360 TBH. Even if it were to happen, I reckon it would easily be 12-18 months away. The longer it goes and the closer it gets to MGS4 releasing on the PS3 without any announcement, then the less likely it is to happen.

FFXIII is another one, development of this game is already a good 2 years in and nothing has been mentioned about a 360 version. SE is hoping that a decent number of PS3's sell by the time it is released and it looks like this may very well happen.

EA certainly are pushing more and more 360 games, but EA are just like that....they intentionally follow the large userbase and can very quickly move to another platform over the course of a few months. But they generally don't stick with a platform long enough to get the most out of it, unlike dedicated platform developers. But EA is a huge plus for MS at the moment and Sony will try their hardest to make sure that EA still make PS3 games and don't go down the same road as the Dreamcast.

Prediction (June 12th 2017)

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.

PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)

PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)

ff vs blue dragon? Yea they are trying to get sony of the market, that was there goal since the beginning. Why do you think they want nintendo to be their friends? Like they say "my enemies enemy is my friend".

I think he was trying to highlight microsoft's broader attempt to trump sony's former JRPG monopoly. But yes, Lost Odyssey vs FF would be a better comparison

Firstly, can you provide a link to where Peter Moore Said it wouldn't be on the 360?

Secondly, Kojima has absolutely no say whatsoever whether or not MGS4 comes to the 360. The IP is owned fully by Konami and they are open to having it on other platforms as you can see at the following links.

http://au.gamespot.com/news/6176240.html

Thirdly, Konami's head of operations stated that "Since Metal Gear Solid was born for the PlayStation, we would like to keep it a PlayStation game. But we might have to take some steps."

Fourth, HMV recently listed a 360 version of MGS4. Admittedely they later admitted a mistake, but its a fairly substantial mistake to make if a version doesnt exist.

Fifth, at no point did i or anyone else above state that "anecdotal evidence" had anything to do with your so called 'xbots'.

Sixth, Ken Levine from 2k recently came out and said that they have an exclusive contract with Microsoft, and no MGS4 exclusivity contract has ever been mentioned by Konami.

Seventh, is the swearing really neccessary? You are the definition of a troll

As soon as PS3 sales pick up, there'll be no more talk of this.
MS can want all they like, but not all dev's can be bought. And having a close realtionship to a company like EA is hardly going to inspire trust and respect from consumers...

The PS3 has no system-selling software until March, at which point MGS4 itself is meant to move the console.  Do you truly believe that it will sell enough to make the game significantly profitable?  "Not all devs can be bought," this implies that somehow Sony have the moral highground in the console business. Between claiming that "next-gen starts when we say it does," saying they dont buy exclusivity and then doing it anyway, and trojan-horsing blu-ray, i'd say that MS and Sony are as bad as eachother.  Also, you seem to mistakenly believe that the majority of gamers dont like EA.  How many of the 160 million gamers from last gen do you think read forums and dislike EA. To this day they are the biggest third party on the planet, and they are only getting bigger.

so Spielberg and Lucas have no say where their movies end up? who decided when Star Wars came to DVD? nuff said.

@vizunary

The film industry is completely different to the video game industry in this respect. Speilberg and Lucas have created the BIGGEST blockbusters in history. And george Lucas is a billionaire who OWNS Lucasarts and Speilberg owns half of Paramount. Understand the difference...they OWN the IP they work on!!! Kojima has no ownership of MGS4, a game that is big, but far from being the kind of blockbuster Speilberg and Lucas's movies are. He has also stated that this is the last game in the series, which instantly reduces the ability he has to influence Konami's future earnings. Kojima has little to no say on where this game goes, and certainly cant be compared to the two film producers/directors you mentioned...nuff said

Diomedes is just an inherant PS3 fanboy, and hates the idea of even more top-tier IPs going to X360.

IMO, we'll see MGS4 on X360. Now, the question is if it'd be day-and-date or not.

Also, I think FFXIII on X360 is a little bit too far-fetched. However, I do think that with UE3 being a new staple in the SquareEnix family of development tools, the X360 has a huge advantage over the PS3 right now due to it. Because of this, I believe MS will try to strike a few deals with SquareEnix on making a few Final Fantasy: Crystal Chroincles-esque games for the X360 (ie, a FF game, but not named), and maybe try to grab lots of more obscure titles to the X360 (I'd love a new Seiken Densetsu on X360).

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
