But look at it this way. When you hype up a game, you're generally not trying to gain the attention of people that already like it. Usually, the people that like a game "in the first place", already have their opinions set.

Either way, I doubt there isn't atleast some kind of dissapointment regarding KZ2.

OT: Please, how many people complaining about the command lag (which turned out to be less than Halo 3) actually liked the game in the first place? They pretend they liked it so they can bash the PS3 some more. That's how fanboys are, sadly.

Then there's the occasional person who genuinely doesn't like it, but they're too rare to be significant. In a breakdown of 100 people in a Killzone 2 thread:

70 people who like the game

25 fanboys who don't like the game

5 people who genuinely dislike the game.

No.... Nooo!!!! WHY???!!! So if the game debuts with good sales everyone can call it a failure???!!!

So that fans of other systems will think that we're hyping up another "Savior"???

To have a mess of online articles on the anticipation of a "System Seller"???

To have a mess of online post complaining about the most minute issue found in the game???

Yes yes, it starts out as an expression of exitement... but then when the hype becomes too large, it starts to consume all logic and expectations begin to become unreasonable. Then, when there's an issue with the game (whether big or small), everyone starts going crazy and some people start blamming the game for not living up.
