We've seen in-game footage of Alan Wake, it looks amazing.

And unlike Sony, Microsoft doesn't often announce it's exclusives years in advance. Gears of War 2 was announced at the same time as Mass Effect 2 (relative to the year), without gameplay footage, and look how it turned out.

Wii can not be overtaken by either PS3 or X360. Sony and Microsoft must have resigned that Nintendo has won due to Wii capturing the Casual and Non-Gamer markets.

So it is just a battle between PS3 and X360. Some Sony and Microsoft executives even claim that Wii does not count as a current generation console because it is not HD.

Therefore it is PS3 Versus XBox 360 in HD console sales war.

I think you guys lack reading comprehension or didn't bother to read the post. He is saying BECAUSE THE WII IS SO FAR AHEAD the only consoles that are competing are the HD twins. Wii is still in the console race but theres no point debating if its going to win this year or not, so for fun he wants to debate the hd twins.

What I would like to know is if the console war of the HD systems will continue for 1 year after 360 stops production since it got a head start. I'm not positive but it seems the difference in sales from Ps3 and 360 is only a years difference.
