Forums - General - *sigh* I am worried that I'm going to have trouble keeping my grades up.

Has anyone else ever got this problem?

At the start of the academic year all my grades were around the 70% region. Then I started to get some that were around 65%. I had to hand in a bunch of reports on Monday and I was not convinced any of them would get 65%, perhaps not even 60% (except for one which happened to be for a module I am very good at). I then had to do a presentation on Wednesday and the examiners that I gave it too looked bored as sin as I waffled on for ages about IPTV technology. Anyway, I was just sitting at my laptop typing up some of my dissertation and I just had to delete 2000 words in one section and start again because it was so crap... I mean utter crap, like it was written by a child.

This year (third year) I am pulling an average grade of 65.5% so far, but if I want to go into further education after my degree, realistically I have to keep it at that level or better. Basically for those of you that don't know about British universities 70%+ is a 1st (A), 60-70% is a 2/1 (B), 50-60% 2/2 (C) and so on. If you want to have a real chance to do further education after your degree you have to get a good 2/1.

I know I only have myself to blame really. Urgh, I feel like crap, I've had enough work for today.

Strangely, no I have not seen this trend. Even more strange since first semester I have not missed the 7 - mark.

MEaning that I scored neither higher or lower then a 7. I've only had one 6 due to some retarded high-counting exam for the rest, only 7's.

And I'm in my masteryear. If I get around to writing my thesis properly I hsould be completely in the clear. For a 7.

Proud fan of all three consoles??? Oh I get it now. I haven't actually seriously played games in a long time. I've messed about occasionally and that has been the extent of it.

OT: I think this thread is just the culmination of a pretty depressing week.

I'm having problems myself, now that I've decided that I'm dropping maths when I go into A2, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to see it through to the end of AS.

My grades are always good, so no, never had that problem...

I dropped maths pretty early on in my A-levels too. It was too time consuming for me.
