Forums - Nintendo - Madworld Replay Factor

So I have heard that the game will be 5-6 hours.. which is perfectly fine. A game in this genre shouldn't drag on forever. Its about making 5-6 hours of phenomenal action. My question is what do you all think will be included to entice people to play this game for weeks and months after release. Here's what we know is included 1. Multiplayer: All the details are not given yet, but we can assume it is only 2 players, and restricted to the various mini games that you will encounter throughout the campaign. These will be purely contests to see who can score the most points. Other potential multiplayer mode: Motorcycle challenges?? 2. Hard mode and Normal mode: The IGN podcast says the hard mode is a real challenge, which is a great thing for those looking to play through a second time BUT WHAT ELSE?? Do you think there will be items to collect?? Will amassing points get unlockable costumes? Alternate characters?? Will there be different endings based on how many points you get throughout the game?? Alternate paths? Once we get some reviews we will know all the details, but until then we can only speculate

You have to consider the genre... Imagine if WoW lasted 5-6 hours, or if Sonic the Hedgehog lasted 50-60 hours....

If sonic would stop getting ratings like 3.9, i'd be quite happy to play him for 50-60 hours :D.  On a serious note though, madworld is in the same genre as god of war. I'd expect 10-12 hours would be decent.

the 10million ways of killing people.

Didn't IGN say they were only four hours into it and expected 8-10 hours?
