Hopefully the US numbers will pick up. I want FE 5 (Fire Emblem: Thracia 776) finally translated.

I want the US numbers higher.....i don't want FE to go back into hiding for 6 more games.
| scottie said: Relax, sequels will come. FE:DS is currently on 0.31 without Others numbers. The highest selling portable FE is http://www.vgchartz.com/games/game.php?id=3339®ion=All which sold 0.39 (was never released outside of Japan). So FE:DS is already the highest selling portable version. As for Radiant Dawn, it has already outsold the FE:GC in Japan, the only region in which the GC one was tracked. I think IS makes these games not because of the money, but because they love us :D |
That's not true. Fire Emblem VII sold 720k. This http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~hokora/gbarank.html">site is reporting that it sold 330k in America as of the end of 2004.

I don't know if the US numbers by themselves will accomplish that, but the EU and US numbers together ought to convince Nintendo to continue releasing FE outside of Japan (at least I hope).

I know. I was just putting some data that we don't have.
Although, that was the first FE in America.
I'm not too worried about the Fire Emblem franchise. Nintendo has turned one out almost every year since 2003. It must be pretty successful for them to keep up that rate of franchise exploitation.

"Go buy the new Fire Emblem game!!!"
If someone could only help me get into this series or genre I would certainly pick this up.
