It's called "Killzone 2". This is why I think Killzone 2 sold more consoles than people are giving credit for.

Just goes to show that price is a factor. Maybe if PS3 was $100 less the jump would be bigger.

Its hard to justify spending 400 just for one game in a recession.

Regardless, I have clearly already made up my mind to trust Brett's numbers, rather than wait for confirmtion. However, certain people here, yourself included do not seem to have as much faith in these numbers. So I am merely instructing you that when the NPD releases their estimates, and they are in line with Brett's numbers I will bring this thread back up. And when GG releases shipment details that once again confirm how the OP's 'gut feeling' was wrong, I will raise this thread again.

I've got to ask - if you don't think VGChartz numbers are accurate, why are you here?

This game wont move much hardware at all - to do that you need to grow the market by appealing to a broader range of people.
Releasing yet another unplayable FPS shooter is not going to do much at all for hardware - though i note they did almost match X360 sales in the US this week.

The lower sales for Wii and 360 in Europe and America last week in comparison to the prior week also makes me think PS3 sales were higher than this estimate.
