Cause its not, thats how. I didnt see any insults or derogatory comments about anyone there...did you? For anyone who wasnt trying to take it as something its not, its just means you end up getting someone overseas who is very hard to understand, which makes it rather painful to deal with over the phone. I knew what he meant by it, and you probably did to, But there is always gonna be someone who wants to make things into something they arent.....

Incompetence transcends racism imo.
I am Irish and if the helpline was manned by Irish people I would still say I was dealing with gross incompetence.

So somehow the race of the tech support person has; 1 something to do with the topic? and 2 the amount of information Microsoft allows to give to the tech support individual.

Incompetence is a large part of it. They are given jobs in India that provide a nice wage from MSFT and a nice office space in which to work in for the day. However, most are given a comp and told to get to work with maybe a day or two of training. This is incompetence on the managerial part as tech problems are a key reason why most call.

It's got nothing to do with race and everything to do with an unpleasant and frustrating experience being made even more unpleasant and frustrating by virtue of the fact that you can't understand a fucking word the operator is saying. Nobody is impressed by your over devotion to political correctness, mister!

My god ppl, notice the bolded. He directly refers to the accent!!! Have none of you ever called a company for customer service and had this happen?? He didnt insult intelligence, religion, etc etc. Its a fact that alot of companies outsource thier CR to India and that English is thier second language. It can be rather difficult to get technical support from someone you cant even understand.
