Not bad to be honest, but PS3 is still really expensive 400 euros is a lot especially in current time.

it's strange that they keep bundling games that people will buy anyway...

in my opinion they should bundle games that niche markets will get attracted to, since they are probably not yet sure about buying a ps3 yet.

example: valkyria chronicles (s-rpg niche) or HAWX (air combat sim niche)

So your ignoring the 17-19% VAT import tax. So actually, your saving quite a lot.

Translates to $504.23 in US Dollars. That's still kind of a lot since we can buy System for $399.99 and both games for $39.99 each. Should sell more systems though hopefully.

Cheaper for a person with Euros buying it in the US at the current exchange rate.  For a US citizen with USD in his pocket buying it in the US and for an European citizen with Euros in his pocket buying it in Europe, it's (roughly) the same.

with GTAIV, MGSIV, Resistance 2, SFIV, KZ2 and GoW3, Uncharted 2, FF, Resident Evil and GT and more coming, the PS3 in 2010 will probably have a decent game-library core

Well the average income is higher in the US than in any european country so it's definitely more expensive.
