Killzone 2 is online is great don't get me wrong but there's still more nerfs/buffs , game modes , maps that could be added. Just wanted to know if there was any news so I have something to look forward to.

a developer's talk on IGN revealed that the devs themselves have said that they had experimented with tanks but that they had to pull them out "unfortunately" and that they might bring those back, so that could be a hint to DLC

Yup. They've said they are developing DLC already. Hopefully, this includes co-op, but it's unlikely

I definitively think there will be tweaks and DLC down the line.

This game lacks a ridiculous amount of options, it's almost embarassing for them considering the game had about 4 years development time.

There's not enough filters when joining matches. I keep running into servers with options I really don't like. There's a few that disable certain classes and have some funky settings. I've lost track of how many times I've went into a match without auto-balancing disabled. I also find it really weird that there's no way to filter it so only Warzone matches are listed even though you cafn change the filter to sfhow any of the other 5 gametypes - it makes using the Quick Join option a little annoying.

Skimish mode is horrible. Probably the worst offline bot mode I've ever seen. There's only 3 options you can change - bot limit, difficulty, and map. You're forced to play Warzone with the default settings, which is ridiculously long.



EDIT: Now I'm shocked. How many times did we hear the devs talk about "Warzone" being the main gametype? I just realized that it's not even a gametype at all. That explains why you can't filter the MP search settings to show Warzone servers only. It's actually just a template you can select when creating your own match. Seriously, what the fudge? Sorry for the rant but this game is so quick to dissapoint when it comes to options and variety. I noticed so many flaws as soon as I jumped on the MP.

If they want to charge me for DLC they don't have to bother making it. (don't have creditcard) Unless they off course bring some PSN vouchers to Europe (hint Sony hint)

Aparty system is an absolute must. If u want to jooin a game you have to find ur friend and hope the game allows faction change. Ienjoy it immensely. However its stuck in the stone age like gt5p. Cod waw is perfect for playing with friends.
I'm not gona hold my breath either. If after two years this isnt standard it probably never will be.
