Forums - Nintendo - Little King's Story release date set for North America! (Maybe)

May 29th is probably the wrong date as that is a Friday. I've had it pegged for May 26th for a few weeks now, which is probably the correct date as that is a Tuesday.

I noticed that the 26th was listed in our game database, but that is the only place I've seen that release date.  Where did you come up with that date?

I agree that the 29th seems wrong, but I thought this should be posted anyway.

I can't say as I'd have to look through my sources again, but it is a mix of (in order of priority)

1) press releases
2) IGN, Amazon
3) other purchasing websites (like ebgames.com)
4) gamefaqs (because they work similar to how we do)

Also, if the date just looks wrong, I might go to another source if it has a "similar" date. The last time I noticed IGN and Amazon had a messed up date was for Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. I think they had it listed for Sunday when Nintendo had it listed for a Monday.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit
11/03/09 Desposit: Mod Bribery (RolStoppable)  vg$ 500.00
06/03/09 Purchase: Moderator Privilege  vg$ -50,000.00

Damn, this is getting complicated.  After a quick search:

1) Nothing

2) May 29 (IGN), May 31 (Amazon), May 2009 (Gamespot)

3) May 15 (EB Games/Game Stop)

4) May 2009 (gamefaqs)

I'll see if I can turn up a few press releases.

I haven't updated any release dates in ~2 weeks since I was on a business trip. Who knows, maybe they changed the dates again as they change all the time. Even Sonic and the Black Night changed dates quite a few times. Managing the release dates on VGChartz feels like you are just constantly delaying every game on the list

XSEED's website has very little information on anything. I figured the publisher would have more info on the games they were publishing.

most the time you need to have press access to get anything usefull from their websites, but even then they usually don't have release dates listed. I do agree though, they should have the most information.

Please not May. I'll already buying InFamous and Patapon 2 in May!

June would be perfect. Maybe April.

April would be uber-fantastically-awesome, because it comes before May. On the other hand, the end of May means it's post-finals, so I won't flunk for sure.

Talk about Sophie's Choice...

And since this is the end of May, it's basically like June. Sorta.

Games coming out after school is over is a great thing for me.

It just sucks that I'm going to be spending about $150 on games all at about the same time.

Little King's Story - end of May
The Conduit - June
Overlord: Dark Legend - June

All are definite buys for me.

I've got the same games in my queue, as well as Punch-Out!, Klonoa, and Jungle Beat, and that's not counting this month (Rune Factory, Ogre Battle, and Broken Sword, plus anything interesting that comes out on VC/Wiiware). Fortunately, April's pretty quiet...(unless they dump Ogre Battle 64 or some such on us).
