Halo Wars includes final farewell from Ensemble Studios

With today's (North American) release of Halo Wars, we thought we'd share Ensemble Studios' heartfelt goodbye message included in the game's end credits. The video, which shares the same sentimental weight as Bruce Shelley's final remarks, starts with a message to all of Ensemble's fans and is followed by individual notes from everyone on the development team.

We wish the best of luck to everyone who was a part of the team at Ensemble Studios and hope success follows with their new ventures.

Back in the 90's Blizzard, Ensemble and westwood were the three best RTS developers. It's sad that now only Blizzard remains since RTS is my favorite genre.

I dont mind that Microsoft shut the company down, but instead Microsoft should just make the company a new division called Microsoft Game Studios Ensemble and have them make RTS games for 360/PC.

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

Nice...but it's not really farewell...just a brief hiatus...since are wither employed by MGS or the new companies Robot and Bonfire...so it's like retirement from somewhere, and coming back as a consultant...lol.

Goodbye Ensemble. AOEII was amazing. AOM was great. AOEIII was good. Here's hoping the employees in bonfire studios are able to make something great again...say.... a medieval themed rts. AOEII on steroids!
