Forums - Nintendo - The Nintendo Confessional Booth

Do any of you keep dark Mario-shaped skeletons in your Nintendo closet, which if revealed, would no doubt incur legions of torch-weilding Nintendo fanboys to bait for your (censored) blood? If so, then reveal them here in the Nintendo Confessional Booth and finally be freed from your sins.

Just in case you were curious (and to get you started), here are some of my horrific Nintendo-related confessions. Torches at the ready!

Forgive me, Miyamoto, for I have sinned...

  • I have never completed Ocarina of Time
  • I have never played Goldeneye
  • I actually quite dislike dungeons in Zelda games and dread walking into one
  • I don't want Mario to ever go back to 2D
  • I do not care about the Mother games at all
  • I actually WANT new Pokemon and would hate any game which only featured the first 151
  • I never completed Metroid Prime 3 either... In fact, I never got very far at all
  • I never played any of the games on the N64 made by Rare
  • Starfox Adventures was the best Star Fox game ever made
  • Mario Kart: Double Dash is my favourite Mario Kart
  • I LOVED the sailing in Wind Waker!
  • Alexandra Burke's version of "Hallelujah" is better than Jeff Buckley's (ok, so it's not Nintendo-related, but I just had to get that off my chest)

Now I have confessed my sins, it's time for you to spill :)

I never beat Super Mario 2 (NES) or Zelda MM

Oh and the fact that you haven't played Golden Eye is really your loss as a gamer!!

- I dislike the mother games
- I've never played Metroid Prime
- I've never played an F-Zero game
- I've never played Super Mario World 2
- The stories in Zelda games are my favorite part
- I'm only looking forward to 1 of your future games: Sin and Punishment 2

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Goldeneye has aged terribly, so that's no big loss. Though I don't see how you can say Starfox Adventures without having played Starfox 64.

My confession: I think Super Metroid is the worst of the main Metroid games (though I mean this in the sense that it's slightly less masterfull than the rest).

I missed all GameCube gqmes (except WindWaker) because I had a moment of lost interest in gaming.

But I plan to correct it: just orderer Mario Sunshine on eBay and waiting for Pikmin reedition on Wii for a start.

-I never finished Sunshine, I didn't like it.
-I've never played a Rare game, besides Starfox Adventures
-I never finished Wind Waker
-I still have to beat ocarina(I'm planing to)
-Twilight Princess was my first Zelda
-A Sonic game was the first game I played(I'm pretty sure it was.)
-I want a futuristic Zelda
-I never liked Pokemon
-I never liked Melee that much(But I love brawl...)
-I loved Wind Waker's art style
-I never played a Kirby game
-I didn't like Mario galaxy's concept the first time I heard about it, thought it was dum. (Boy was I wrong, one o' the best games ever!)
-I've never played a 2-d Metroid(besides a demo on Brawl...)
-I didn't like Prime at first(though I late got back into it and liked)

That's all I can think of for now, I have too much confessions...

- I have never ever played a Zelda ,Pikmin, Metriod Prime game ever.
