Stealth action title Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots went on sale last June. A month later PlayStation Trophy achievements were introduced.

Game company Konami still hasn't added Trophy support in a retro-active update. However, that doesn't mean Konami or BHR-3 have forgotten about MGS4 trophies.

Recently Konami's Brandon Laurino posted in the comments on PlayStation.Blog:

On the subject of MGS4/MGO trophies and Konami ID - we hear you, you'd better have heard us. We have been circulating these issues internally, and we will report back as soon as we are able, it better be as soon as possible like before this year ends.

If Konami added Trophy support to MGS4, we'd probably go back and play the game — save, for the lengthy and talky Mission Briefings. We wouldn't watch those again. No way, BHR-3 would yes way.

This is the first news i've seen that MGS4 might be getting trophies lets hope it happens

If they kill Konami IDs and add trophies to MGO I'd consider getting it.

OMG they mentioned that the Konami ID was an issue being talked about!

If they got rid of that and made it integrated with PSN I would so go back to MGO

A little extra incentive to replay MGS4 again. If they do away with MGO's separate ID and just integrate with the PSN ID then I'd give MGO a try as well.

yeah I think I would play it again, when the trophies are good. But this time I'll skip the cutscenes ^^
