王様物語 is probably the first Japanese game title written entirely in kanji that I could read the first time I saw it. Then again they're usually in katakana, so I haven't had many chances before. =P
Excellent news for Nintendo fans in any case. More games all the time for the Wii pretty much confirms solid support from Japanese developers, King Story looks like a potential 5M+ seller, and more Prof Layton is always welcome.
Gensou Suikoden is also written entirely in Kanji ;)

So it is, and I also understand exactly two characters from it. ^^
Is it just me imagining things, or are names in katakana becoming even more common for games? The older ゼルダの伝説 games generally had at least some kanji like 時のオカリナ, ムジュラの仮面, or 風のタクト, but the latest is just トワイライトプリンセス. No wonder it sold like crap over there. =P
Holy crap, I just realised Phantom Hourglass' Japanese title is 夢幻の砂時計! The utter illegibilty of this monstrosity erases all my doubts on the matter. o_O

That's what I meant, the same happened to me. But now it works fine.

Yeah, not sure what has happened to Ninty & Camelot. Some falling out?
Maybe Ninty are creating Mii Golf (?) inhouse.
Any competition to EA is great ;) And just another reason to not buy Tiger Woods '08.
Can someone PLEASE implement some form of online play? It can't be that hard for a friggin golf game!!

Nope, that's just you, Ouendan for instance is also almost completely written in Kanji:
押す!戦え!応援団!
Zelda, Shin Megami Tensei (真女神転生), Harvest Moon WII (牧場物語やすらぎの樹), Professor Layton (レイトン教授と不思議な街) and White Knight Story for instance is entirely written in Kanji (白騎士物語)
Japanese "always" write English names in Katakana, unless there's a Japanese expression in Kanji for it. Japanese also uses katakana to emphasize the expression, even though you can write it in Kanji.
Such as in this game, the latest Harvest Moon DS game (牧場物語キミと育つ島) Here they emphasize the "you" in the title.
Edit..."but the latest is just トワイライトプリンセス. No wonder it sold like crap over there. =P..."
Dragon Quest is even in katakana written and sells like crazy and the latest Final Fantasy games on the PS2 even in Romaji (=Western alphabet)

Wii Love Golf totally makes me think of Hot Shots Golf ...
I wonder which will end up selling better in Japan
