I really hope this game doesn't take away from Call Of Duty 4's sales. Infinity Ward has really put alot of effort in this game. They've built the game separately from the 360, which means it isn't a port. Unlike UT 3, this game will be running at 60 FPS with the some of the best graphics to ever hit a console. Call Of Duty 4 is a master piece that deserves to sale well.

UT3 is running at 30 FPS on consoles? Where did you hear this?

Wow, I can't imagine playing FPS competitively at under 60 FPS. I Shoot for 99 steady. Will there be an option to turn all graphics down to an absolute minimum? That's what pretty much every professional player I know does. Screw graphics for skill based gaming, give me a high frame rate.

Seriously, who plays professional FPS with anything but the absolute minimum graphical settings? :/

Looks uber sweet, god damn Epic knows their art.

Any one know anything about the single player ??

hopefully it's ALOT better single player than the last one i played, not holding my breath though.

the single player is training for the multiplayer, nothing more, plus the gameplay is awesome in the single player as the AI is challenging (but on Godlike for me =])

I have never played any UT games, does this mean it has no single player story/campaign?

yea its not running at 60fps, the developer said it when gamespot asked, he said he is not expecting it to be 60fps, but if could be possible if they set it as our goal.

edit: I need help on my grammar.

Did you read the post above you?

He said 60fps would require chopped down visuals.

Technically it does, but its complete trash.

Just so you know, PC gamers have been buying multiplayer only games for nearly a decade without problem. Time for Console gamers to catch up :p

oh theres a story, its just spread around all 9? unreal games. truthfully its a awesome story, the original trailer for UT3 tells a good deal of it to catch people up. They campaign is really a giant tournament which you have to get gold medals or trophies in to unlock the final match. Which omg I cant wait to see how hard the final match is. The final guy even on easy in UT04 is pretty hard, on godlike you have to have lightning fast reflexs. When the difficulty is set to godlike, you pray for the top of the line gaming mouse. 1600dpi mouse = awesome.
