Having been a crazy ass Resident Evil (or should we say Biohazard?) fan since the start i will obviously be getting this one. The question then becomes which version do i get as i own both the consoles?

I grew up playing the series on the PS1 and then the PS2. I am used to playing the game with the Playstation controller!

But times change and we now find the games lead format is the 360. We are yet to see if that actually means anything though as hardly any reviews about. Playing both demos i have to be honest and say i didn't really notice anything different.

So with just 11 days left to go i have yet to pre-order the game, are there people who are also waiting to see if there are any differences before making the decision?

I'll be buying it on the 360, since that's how I get all my multiplats unless there's a good Wii version.

Also, as it's more of a shooter, I prefer the 360's shooter-friendly triggers ^_^

buying the ps3 one, mainly cause thats what i have.
i woulda bought it for the wii if they only made it for that.

360. I don't have a PS3, but even if I did, I'd still buy it for the 360. I just can't control shooter games well with the DS, and I very much prefer the 360 controller for those kinds of games. Not only that, but none of my friends have a PS3, and they're all buying the 360 version. If I want to play with them... yeah.

It would have been nice to be able to play online with a friend for free, though.

Hmm, I'll hold off that call till I get to play both versions as I have very little experience with either but things may suggest I'll be buying the 360 version (really liked the demo).

PS3 cause I mostly play co-op on ps3 and co-op is the only reason why I'm getting it

Owning both the 360 and PS3 I'll be getting mine on PS3 as I prefer the controller and I care more for Trophies then I do achievements. I don't see how you could go wrong with either copy, they'll be the exact same thing despite what fanboys claim. So it really comes down to a) what systems do you own b) which controller you prefer and c) do you care for trophies and/or achievements? and if so which one do you prefer? I don't think anyone is going to be buying one version over another because you can see an extra wrinkle on Chris' left butt cheek.

360... no ps3 :)
