Maybe I'm spoiled, but this was done, when? 3 years ago on a PS2?

Perhaps I should _not_ try expanding my limited JRPG expertise :)

i am shocked....this voice over is incredibly bad...it sounds like i'm watching the educational channel's story telling time....they should get the voice actors from FF....FF voice actors are really good...especially in XII...i hope there's an option to choose japanese voice over instead so i can't tell if it's bad voice acting or not...

i knew it from the begining that she was the cat¡¡¡¡. i dont know but the scenes from this game are weird, theres always in each scene a little bit of soft porn jejeje. you are right sometimes the characters look like if they are dolls, they dont have like any expression in their faces. and lol at reimi ass at the end of the scene. but i dont see a problem with the voice acting they sound good to me.

True, I suppose... But I still find it tasteless to try and pull off such a thing in a plot-oriented genre of game :)

I mean, I understand that the game has a very fun action-oriented combat system, but if you can't do cutscenes that don't scar the soul, don't even try... I would have appreciated more semi-animated paintings and written text, or indeed even completely abstract mii-like characters like in FFVII. At least your imagination can fill the spaces.

The problem is, this isn't a wii series game. It's a Square Enix games and have been advertised by many as having great graphics and all that kind of shit. And what we get? 498p, no facial expressions and crappy voice acting. If you take a look at the back of your FFX copy (a 2001 game) you can see the game features "real time facial expressions".

glad to see I'm not the only one who found that to be the worst/most annoying part of the entire dialogue.

Except tri-Ace were the ones that made this and not S-E.  If S-E really were to make this game, the game would have very impressive facial expressions.  Look at FFX, FFXII and the Kingdom Hearts series.  Heck, even for all of its technical issues, The Last Remnant had some pretty good facial expressions.
