So when it's integrated and everything, will there be an "IM" link as well as "Message" and "Add Friend" under our avatars here and in the profiles?

only people with IM can see if other people are on IM.

 




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Exactly - you don't have the functionality, so notifying you that people are on IM is kinda useless...

Why don't' you make it so that you have to have OVER $2000 to get the IM, but you don't have to actually lose the $2000? Then people won't be grumbling about losing their money when others down the road my get it for less/free. ^_^

This, but make it $3,000 for now so the servers don't get over loaded.

Though I do think there should be at least SOME charge. Maybe $500 or so. These VG$ have to be worth something! :P
