Play 360.
I usually play Wii when my 360 is in the shop.
I would call Nindy support they're very helpful but first try disconnecting the power supply. My Wii died a couple of times when I first got it, it turned out to be the power supply (I tested it with a multi-voltage tester). It turns out the power brick wasn't truly broken, it shuts off if it senses an unclean fluctuating power source to protect the console systems flash memory. To reset it you need to unplug it AND remove ALL other connections from the console (sensor bar, TV cable) you also need to remove any memory cards. Wait 20 mins and reconnect everything now it should work if not call Nintendo. My problem was the mini fridge in the game room would make the voltage fluctuate on the same circuit where the Wii was plugged in. I just bought a cheap computer UPS and I've never had the problem since. Another thing to keep in mind is that there is also a standard 3 amp fuse inside the brick but I wouldn't try to replace it unless your system is out of warranty.
One time my Wii seemed dead. Then I just left it unplugged for a day, and it came back to life.

Same here. Haven't had any problems with it since either, kinda weird..
Thanks everyone for your help. Fortunately, my Wii made a miraculous discovery this morning. I don' know what happened, but i cannot explain how happy i was to see a red power light finally go on this morning.
I am terrified though about continuing with MP3. My Wii seems to go nuts when MP3 is on, as the little Wii processor tries to compete for volume with the nearby tv.
Anyway, thanks for all the help, and now lets hope my Wii survives, at least until Madword is out.

I wonder what will happen if my Wii dies... you see, I have an import :-? Will Nintendo Europe just fix it for me? It would have been easier if the Wii had just like the PS3 a registered ID with the ability to download PSN games on 5 different consoles, just in case one dies, which already happened to me within 8 months as the blu ray lens died. I've decided that I'll buy the DSi from Europe, that's for sure. DS games stay region free and DSi games I'll just buy here in Europe from the UK. Can always decide to buy an US version the future.
Can also be that your AC adapter bricked, happened to me once, but that because I was using a step down convertor which was nonsense. I can simply use an European adapter with my US Wii.
Edit: It works again I see, congratulations, hopefully it'll stay that way ;)

I think this thread proves without a doubt that the Wii has magical self-healing powers.
It might be related to Wolverine.

Send it to Nintendo. All of your save data will be back. The only problem will be, on your new Wii, all of the miis you created will be as if someone else made them, so you can't edit your old miis. But that is not that much of a problem at all.
