The games are so lonely that they would have to change it up.   Otherwise there would be only action and no dialog.  I am sure it would make a good movie if done right.  Most likely it would be done horribly like most video game movies. 

The scarlett pic that Fazz posted actually looks like it could be Samus.... Hmmmm

And Jessey Schram... if maybe she just stared at things (That glass Samus stare) and didnt talk... would work too.

QFT.  Half of the movie would have to be animated anyway (you wouldn't want to put your carefully selected actress in a robot suit that crumples her up into a ball, would you?) and I personally think it's better to avoid lots of CG/human mixing...

Not to mention I totally agree on the argument that the world doesn't need another video game movie.

Clone Wars the cartoon was amazing.

If they made a Metroid series in the style of Clone Wars or Samurai Jack, it would be amazing.

Those were awesome.  I wish Samurai Jack hadn't been canceled.  That show was great.

That's actually exactly what I had in mind. Samurai Jack and Samus Aran are actually very similar characters. They don't say much, just do a lot of butt-kicking for goodness. Samus is alone in a universe filled with space pirates, and Jack is alone in a future full of... all kinds of crazy crap. They never bitch about their crappy destiny.

When i was watching wimbeldon this year i looked at her and thought she would be perfect for the role.

she looks just like samus.

also she makes those sounds when she hits the ball is just like the sounds samus makes when she gets hurt!

but then i watched hancock and then i thought the best to play her would be charlize theron because of her sharp features and she pretty much looks exactly like samus.

Yep, Charlize Theron. Simple as that.

If they do make a movie it has to be one pretty unknown actress.
