Seriously, it tickles me silly to see all of these rabid gamer fanboys trying to puff out there concave chests and proclaim that their personal favourite console is the end all be all of gaming, as if being the proud owner of this generations "best" console somehow validates the fact that they spend their lives in a socially retarded state hibernating in their parents basements, and living off of potato chips and orange pop.
News flash, fanboys: if you are a PS3 fanboy, and God himself intervened in the console war and purchased 40 million PS3's tomorrow to put them in the lead it would not change anything. Your pimples would not clear up. Your sagging sack-belly would not shrink. Girls still wouldn't like you. If you're an Xbox 360 fanboy and Sony decided tomorrow that they are going to stop making electronics and focus soley on kitchen wear, guess what.....you still wouldn't have a bicep. You still won't shower more than once a week, and the jocks at school would still twist your frail twizzler wrists behind your back and take your lunch money.
Do these fanboys own stock in Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo? They must, because they seem to think it matters to their very existence whether games released for their console of choice are hailed as winners or booed as failures.
Why can't we all just enjoy all of the consoles, and all of the great games released for each? Does anybody actually think it would be a good thing if Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo failed and stopped making games?
If I ever ran into one of these fanboys in real life I'd slam my fist down on the top of his head so hard that his rubber spine would accordian and the spring-back action would launch the little elbow licker into orbit.
