Funny things how consoles develop. It would be wise if people not presume a console will be something down the road. I remember thinking that I would get Punch Out and RTS games on the DS, because it was made for both. So I bought a DS, and they never really showed up.

Let me just say, before anybody jumps on me that I'd like to stress the word ANYMORE in my previous post. There was a time that I thoroughly enjoyed my Wii and played and beat many games for it. It's just the last several months, I've not really cared at all about it and have run out of games that interest me.

And there's nothing wrong with that.  I've no problem with anyone saying they don't like something.  I have problems with people saying they don't like something and that there excuse is everything else.  People need to recognize when they don't like something, unless it is complete and utter shit which is easy to see, then they are the reason they didn't like it and no one else.

You seem to recognize that so it's fine.  Need more people like that.

Sweet always good to hear.  I just want to know when people started thinking it was alright to think that when they didn't like somethign that it was everything else but themselves that caused them not to like it.  I mean seriously if ya don't like something or even like something it's obvious it's something with you not anyone else.  People just need to take responsibility for their opinions and actions instead of acting as if they are the only ones that matter.  No one is wrong just conflicting opinions is all.  Meaning whining as if someone is wrong is just childish. 

I wish this site would consider spam actually.  Can say how ya didn't like something but if it's suggesting that it someone else's fault then it should be spam.  Would clean things up if you ask me and limit trolling.  Not to mention people who actually wanted to just discuss a game without doing that would get more creedence rather than simply taken as trolls.  Oh well that's the idealist in me I suppose.

This is a good point.  I was one of those people that thought the Wii would redefine FPS games.  That's my favorite genre.  Red Steel was OK.  Medal of Honor Heroes 2 was pretty fun.  Metroid was great.  Other than that...um...  I'm certainly not buying the Call of Duty games for the Wii when I can get a much more visually pleasing experience on my PS3 plus multiplayer.

I also thought the Wii Star Wars games would be awesome.  I bought the system partially in anticipation of Force Unleashed and Clone Wars Lightsaber Duels.  Turns out those game weren't very good.  Another let down.

"Robocalypse" or however it's spelled is supposedly good.

Still though, I don't understand why a port of Red Alert or some early RTS hasn't been done, perhaps the DS's memory isn't enough for RTS generally.

More than likely the Angelina, George, and Paris will be DEAD 4 to 6 years from now.
