although to be honest I imagine any game made under a HGttG liscense now would be awful. There are I believe 3 text based adventures floating around but I never really looked for them too hard.

There is a PC game by Douglas Adams called Starship Titanic. It's an absolutely awesome point and click adventure game, although nothing to do with the Hitchikers trilogy.

However you will never be able to find it now unless its on ebay. I suspect it costs a bomb though.
