yeah seems they are working on Wii games, so credit to them.
But unfortunately they haven't delivered an AAA title yet on the console, so unless they do have somethin up their sleeves, i'm not that interested yet

Lets hope they're bringing back Wing Commander!
out of all franchises EA owns i would really like to see new Burnout(similar to dominator), new Medal of Honor, Mirror's Edge and exclusive Portal game.
| stof said: So in the last little while, EA has announced Boom Blox Party, DeadSpace Extraction and a Wii specific iteration of Need for Speed, confirmed that Tiger, DeadSpace and their new Wii centric tennis game will use MotionPlus and brought forward family fun potential titles like Nascar kart, Mysims racer and Mysims party, and this is the hatred they get for it? It seems that unless a company decides to follow up successful PS3/360 entries in to their biggest and tech heavy franchises with Wii entries that probably won't sell as much, they're bad companies. We should be happy EA has come around so much. |
Happy with EA, is this a joke? Have u seen the sports games EA has brought to the Wii compared to HD consoles?? I like to have quantity but not if quality is sacrificed for it.

Mirro's Edge could fit perfectly in the Wii, without too many buildings in the horizon.

All the original, high-quality titles are not coming to the Wii - that is why I'm complaining. I want to see Wii titles that are *built* for the console - not part of some multi-skew development series.
The *only* originals I can see are:
- BoomBlox (cute idea, but its really a 'simple' party game - nothing more - and it feels cheap)
- EA Sports Active (i.e. WiiFit cash-in - and WiiFit will do me thanks).
...where is everything else?
GodFather II? Mass Effect? Dragon Age? Saboteur? Fight Night 4 (still NOT a Wii title!) Brutal Legend? Dantes Inferno? C&C/Red Alert? (now *that would be an awesome Wii title - and where is it?)
I'll tell you what - its an absolute joke. Wii is the milking platform, and all the original, big budget titles (from big budget developers) arrive on every other console (PC, PS3, 360) - yet not the Wii.
...
I have 26 Wii titles sitting on my shelves (just counted), including a few from a friend. There are ZERO EA titles there. I have titles from just about every other publisher - but NONE from EA.
The only EA title I am looking forward to, is the new Harry Potter... and I can just see them doing a job and ruining it. Oh yeah - I had the last one - and its the only Wii title I sold :P
As far as I am concerned, EA can get f***ed. They couldn't give a rats about the Wii, other than seeing it as easy money - which it won't be, because they are not giving us what we really want. See EA - 26 purchases - and ZERO from you.
Gesta Non Verba
Nocturnal is helping companies get cheaper game ratings in Australia:
Wii code: 2263 4706 2910 1099
Well, if they just have 5 original franchises in the works for Wii, I'll be very pleased. EA hasn't sucked quite as much in 2008 as they usually do, so heres hoping to a similar 2009.
20. Spore (as was said)
21. Nerf N Strike 2
EA made a ton of money off of Nerf N Strike as the game sold well and for about $60 during the holidays.
