No.  I mean government buildings are never open when it's dark out anyway.

Yeah it would be better if the president didn't mention god all the time. He can be a believer, but not mentionning it. What about people that don't believe in god? He must be the president of all americans.

So should the president's family not be allowed outside of the whitehouse?  Since not everyone has one and not everyone is straight?

Your talking about the religious version of "Don't ask Don't tell."

Which as everyone knows... doesn't work because it's a bigoted form of "we don't like what your doing... but as long as you pretend you are what you aren't we'll forget it."

Yes... intolerance is really developed.  I know when i think intolerance i think "developed."

When it comes to freedom of religion and treatment of the opposite sex... europe is just pitfully behind.

That's the funny part.  How much europe pretends to be advanced... then people like you relish in intolerance.

intolerance... yeah right, in my country, you can:

- get married if you're gay
- adopt a child if you're gay
- euthanasia is allowed
- vote at local elections even if you're not from my country

Can you do it in "god land"?

Gay people can adopt chidlren.

Also your country isn't "all of europe."

Your country is still more intolerant... it's intolerant to actually most of the population of the earth.  Rather then a very small subset.

America isn't "godland"

It's about being able to say and express yourself without fear of government retribution.
