It really is a great fps. And it does hang with the best. Wether it's the best, you can never proclaim about any fps. Because peoples tastes are different. But it's certainly one of the ones that deserve the title.

My view, and it is as valid as anyone else on here.

Graphics wise, as a FPS... possibly the best on a console

Single player gameplay..  not as good as COD or Bioshock in my opinion... its a bit too generic and samey.

Multiplayer... is said to be the gravy and the best part of KZ2, I will be checking it out tonight, after a bit more of the campaign.

 

look forward till you reach the orange stuff. No seriously. The campaign keeps getting better and better throughout.

Judging by reviews, KZ2 isnt even close to being the best FPS from a console point of view.

Though one could argue it has the best technical graphics.

ive been playing team deatch match on that level i cnt remeber what its called, but its set in a dusty sand washed area. i cannot belive the scope on how large the map is and how good the grafix are.

the gameplay as excellent i cant wait to jump back on later this evening.

best shooter ive played this gen.

I haven't played the game but I will be delighted if it's even as good as CoD4.

But best FPS ever? Come on now... It will take more than a retread of a genre to reach the elite category of Half-Life, System Shock, Deus Ex, etc... Especially the original Half-Life. That game radically changed the way we think about FPS.

Killzone 2 verses Half-Life? 2 > 1 so Killzone 2 is obviously the best game ever made.

No way. That is your opinion. There are much better FPS games that stand out. KZ2 just has upgraded graphics. KZ2 game play, online and controls are not considered the best in a FPS.

Half-Life 2, Doom, Quake, Counter Strike, Goldeneye, Halo:CE, Halo 3 and COD4 are considered as some of the best FPS shooters made. Those games have sold much more and have made a huge impact on FPS genre.

Kill Zone 2 has the best graphics in a console game at the moment. But the sales of Kill Zone 2 will not touch any of the games I have mentioned.

I'm just not quick enough on the aim with the controls yet... its a bit of a learning curve for me being non-360 and not COD.

 

If you play through the entirely of the singleplayer campaign first then you should be pretty decent with them. But some servers have crasy people. XD

 

Oh yeah, and it automatically sets it so that you find matches with people of the same rank as you (unless you tell it not to)
