Are Violent Video Games Adequately Preparing Children For The Apocalypse?

This is a rather good question considering this is The Onion.

Well, I personally don't think so but I do agree that violent games do teach kids important skills/knowledge.

I feel ready after Fallout 3. Bring it on, you commies and radroaches!

Does anyone know how to V.A.T.S. IRL?

Did your Overseer issue you your Pip-Boy 3000 yet?

Nope. In fact, my family didn't get into a vault.

Well, on the one hand that probably means you'll become a flesh-less freak of nature, and now (evidently) your brain  (sometimes?) will rot away over time until you become a mindless, flesh-craving monster.

On the other hand, you get to live in this wretched not-really-living state forever!*

*Or at least until one of us Vault folks puts a few rounds in your skull on his/her way to something more important. Like delivering some lingerie to a very lonely man who's living under a bridge.

lol..that was just great.
