Nintendo just released a huge list of upcoming games releasing on Wii (and DS/WiiWare) between now and June.
Notably absent from that list was Wii Sports Resort and Sin & Punishment 2.
Punch-Out was dated and a new game Excitebots was announced.
However based on available data and some common sense it appears Wii Sports Resort will be out on or close to E3 (June 3rd) even though it's not listed.
Almost certainly Nintendo wants to use E3 to strongly promote WM+, what it means to the games industry and of course, the games that use it. But those game already start dropping in May.
Virtua Tennis which we know uses it is listed as a May release. Tiger Woods also confirmed for WM+ drop in June and EA Tennis is listed as summer but since the list only listed until June it's likely EA is at least aiming for a June release for that too.
Presumably since it was also not dated, Sin & Punishment 2 will use WM+ and probably come out in June or July. Possibly Nintendo will use it as a hardcore alternative to SWR to get more core players to experience WM+ and drop it at or nrear the same time. However, by the same token, that suggests Punch Out (May 18) will probably not. If PO plays like it's NES and SNES predcessors, that's not a big deal, since it was more about learning the opponets pattern than wildly punching at them. Quite likely it will use Balance Board for dodging (optional natch).
While it's obvious TW, EA Tennis and S&P2 will be promoted by Nintendo at E3 I'm really looking forward to seeing what games they display that use it that we havn't seen like Red Steel 2 and maybe a new Zelda or Star Fox.
