Forums - Microsoft - My Bioshock is freezing ;_;

 I don't know if this is a 360 issue, I'm pretty sure it's a Bioshock issue.  Grr...perhaps I'll steal one of the peoples at work copy that have already finished the game a few times.

Apparently both Gears and Lost Planet due the same thing, they play fine until a certain level or transition and then lock up. The guess is that playing up that point overheats the GPU and when you hit the massive load of the particular level/transition the GPU locks up. It's a popular method from what I've read to 3RRoD your 360 before Halo 3 arrives.

I was going to recommend posting in 2K's forums but I just checked and noticed you've done that.

How about you stop with the trolling or just do us an even bigger favor and simply don't post in the Microsoft forum at all.  And I suggest changing your username to Trollsayer it suits you much better.

Not every problem on the Xbox is a RROD issue.  Please if you have no idea what's causing the problem he's asking about then simply don't answer it.  All you seem to be doing is spreading FUD.

 Yeah, not expecting much from there other than sorry, try restarting from the beginning but it's worth a shot.  I have a friend from work bringning me his copy tomorrow so I'll at least get to see if it's my copy (probably isn't that either but again worth a try).

 The next game I'm getting for my 360 is Mass Effect, I really couldn't care less about Halo 3.    I would really rather not RRoD my 360 on purpose since I use it as my DVD player and I don't want to dig my old one out of whatever box I put it in.  >_>

Ouch .  It's what I've read on sites like Kotaku dominated by 360 owners.  3RRoD isn't the only cause but it has become a catch all.  I've read about this issue before so I thought I mentioned it, sorry if it hurt your feelings.

Ahhh, well most 360 owners seem to be interested in Halo 3.  I'm sure you can understand they don't won't it dying on them in the middle of Halo 3.  I guess I could mention the towel trick, water dipping (can't believe someone actually did that), DIY heatsinks and other warranty voiding ideas but I don't want to upset Legend11 anymore with my "FUD" from 360 owners.

 Those only work if my 360 is actually overheating though.  Like I said, my 360 isn't any warmer than usual, I let it cool off for a while before trying to load again, and I'm even playing a DVD in it as I type and there's no RRoD.  I'm pretty sure this isn't a RRoD issue.
