Your SW and HW predictions are a little bit crazy.

Well, anyway, it's interesting that episodic characters are not designed by Nomura. Although considering how many games he is working on it isnt surprising.

1-1.2m is not right, either. It will be extremely front-loaded, but it will do 1.5m 1st week at least.

i checked all other notable FF games and they clocked in and around 2 million.

i feel ff13 will deffo do 2million.

regarding hardware numbers it will be huge, mabey i was a bit over the top but it will be huge.

500k consoles? that's like 2000% increase for just one game... can't really see that happening.

It's good to see the development is on schedule. It all depends on Wada at this point.

1.6 million and 250k is what I expect for SW and HW, respectively.

I don't see FF XIII having over/near a 50% attach rate in Japan honestly. Esp not the first week.

Anyway, I hope it does!!! Five years is freaking enough! But you never know what DelayEnix might do :(

 

I don't think around 50% attach rate is out of the question for the first week.  FF7 and 10 both did 40% attach rate on their first weeks.  PS3, moreso than the PS2, people are buying it in Japan for FF XIII.
