Forums - PC - The Last Remnant PC Demo available to download

I just started downloading it. It will take several hours though and I need to go to sleep now so I can't play it until tomorrow after school.

This is available through Steam as well. I recently upgraded my computer so it'll be interesting to see how this game performs. I intend to run it at 1680x1050 with the settings cranked.

Just finished downloading and installing it and played around with it for a couple of minutes. There doesn't seem to be much if any frame rate issues om my PC.

Someone explains me how I can play this demo without a controller, I can't even save the settings cause the game doesn't restart on steam.

After reading the additions on STEAM. I'm buying the PC version. The leader limits are removed completely so I'll be able run around grab all my favorite leaders and fill out my unions. I love it. I'm only going to finish the 360 version for achievements now.

Bring on the PS3 version SE

I wonder if my laptop will be able to run this game/demo at decent speeds/resolutions... I mean how good is the Nvidia 9600GT??

A 9600GT is roughly equal to a 8800GT, which is the recommended card. So, if you have a good machine, you'll probably be able to run it in high settings

How can that be equal in power (the 9600 GT vs 8800 GT)? I have the 9600M GT on my laptop and it runs A LOT better than my other laptop that has 8600M GS. Heck, my other laptop with the 8600M GS can't even run the benchmark of The Last Remnant, and my new one with the 9600M GT runs it flawlessly, including the trial of it.

9600gt in laptop is nowhere near desktop 8800 gt but still there shouldn't be any problem running TLR at 1280x800 (standart laptop resolution).

I can play it perfectly with radeon 4850 at Ful HD.

But that's the point! I'm comparing 9600 GT to 8800 GT. I never mentioned 8600 which is way inferior to an 8800, let alone a GS which are not designated for serious gaming unlike the GTs. Don't put words in my mouth that I never said

Well, I checked steam Saturday. While the game wasn't for sale it described the new features turbo mode for battle and most importantly to me. Know leader limits. I ended up buying the game Sunday evening. My laptop is awesome, I have the game running at 1440x900 with everything set to max and the max framerate set to 60. The only issue I have is slight screen tearing. I could not find a V-Sync option in the settings.

Game runs without a hitch but most importantly I don't need to use generic units, all of those cool leaders I could fit into my part on the 360 version will be at my disposal. I'm rushing trying to catch my PC quest up to where my 360 quest is. I already netted Caedmon but there are so many more I have to get. Trying not to level myself to much before I get them, but even if I do. The stats of leaders are well above generic units even if they haven't been in the party as long.

I am guessing some people here appreciate the SaGa Team and their wonderful battle systems huh?
