To be fair that huge bump for Halo 3 was around the games release.

Do we have that same graph that goes up until today? I could only imagine the KZ bump being higher.

Although to be fair again, Halo 3 "internet hype" as we clearly see here was even higher than KZ2, even leading up to the end of 2008.

Nvm, screw that, it does have a portion of 2009 and it is still higher than KZ2?

/thread?

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

@Starcraft

Don't backtrack and try to act like this all started based on just "internet hype"

You clearly never stated that, only only said "Hyped".

The single most hyped game of this generation arrives, and the first person to get their hands on it takes the time to photograph themselves holding their copy and posting said photograph to tease Americans.

Sigh.

If you really meant internet hype you should have stated that from the start. We are not mind readers.

I corrected the misinterpretation very early on didn't I?

What, my 'hoorah!' wasn't enough? Some people, I dunno!

And nice one, Dallinor. That pretty much nails the coffin down on this odd argument.

wow, a complete victory against starcraft and it's good but I'm sad that sony can't do good marketing :(
