Forums - Sony - Non-Blu-ray PS3 on the way?

1. They are *never* going to make a PS3 without a BluRay player. It's just not going to happen.
2. There's not going to be a price cut anytime soon. I know this because they said the same exact thing the last 20 times this rumor has popped up.

by using alower grade external parts and getting rid of switches,b external psu like in ps2, no chrome and less outlets on the back......ditch the wifi.........combined with moving to a smaller cpu means they could cut price at e3
