Why do people say this? This is completely opinion based and if you are referring to the reviews the 360 had the year game-wise but if not then its completely objectional.

If we're talking about games, the PSP is seeing a huge improvement from last year. And PS3 looks like it'll have a better year than the competition again. Sony are going to be marketing more than ever and there's bound to be a price cut in 2009 at some point. So I'm quite optimistic about PS in 2009.

Aren't reviews also Opinion-based? Reviews mean no more than Carls opinion. Thus in some peoples eyes,the ps3 had a better year.That doesnt make them wrong.

Genesis got destroyed by the SNES and even all the shitty add-ons, Sonic the Hedgehog and Blast processing couldn't save it

Saturn got owned by N64 and even worse by Playstation

Dreamcast got absolutely spanked by Playstation 2, Xbox and Gamecube.

Sega now making games for Nintendo...

Now that thats out of my system, games-wise PS3 not only had the best lineup in 08 but will again in 09.
