Forums - Nintendo - Capcom pretty much confirms Monster Hunter 3 for NA and Europe

As soon as I found out I had to pay to play the game online I lost all interest in this title.

@Chrizum: Where did you hear it was P2P?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Well i am willing to pay a small fee for a good online service like xbox live on the Wii anyday. As to play games like Tatsukono Vs Capcom and Monster Hunter G Online. It's good for the community and the gamers to play and get to know each other.

The Ps2 version had one so i assume the Wii version wii have also. But i am sure that Capcom has already verified this. Can anyone have a link to justify this just to be sure?

The PS2 ones were P2P in Japan only. MH1 when it came over didn't have P2P. MH2 didn't come over. And neither do the PSP ones.

If they're going to want a fanbase then they won't add P2P.

I don't argue with you over the P2P feature, of course you are right but Capcom isn't a very trustworthy company and they want to capitalise on the Wii's user base as much as any other company. So nothing can stop them from charging the online feature they added stateside or on pal regions.

Lets see how this will go with the opening of Monster Hunter tri except Japan and then we can come up with some data to continue our discussion.

Yes they had look the franchise boost over in Japan saleswise and the PSP userbase is a result of that capitalising of the franchise on the handheld.

PSP lacks online service that match the one that the DS and the Wii has, and sony isn't willing to give it a good one anytime soon because of the bad software sales and the lack o interest by the developers for games that includes online features.

The Wii is the next ps2 as far the growth of its market share in Japan and the west so if Capcom thinks that Moster Hunter is their next big opening to the rest of the world then Wii is the console to do it for the various economical reasons this site has stated numerous times.

Is Monster Hunter series better than the Tales series or Dragon Quest series?

f-yes.
sounds great

Doubtful; I'd feel raged if I payed for online for a title while others play for free. That'd be pissing all the Japanese croud in the face.

@YesWiiCan

Monster Hunter IS NOT AN RPG!!! Don't compare it as it were.

MH1, MH2, and MHG all released in America.

And why in the world if MHG is any kind of successful, why wouldn't MH3 be pay to play too?
