But I can't. Well I can't get into JRPGs' like valkrie chronicles and final fantasy. But an RPG like fallout 3, that looks something I can get into but other then that, I have a hard time getting into them. HOW DO YOU DO IT????!!!!!

There are only two words you need to know.

"Mass" and "Effect."

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

My recent fav. list of rpgs:
WRPG:
Fallout 3: NOT for everyone, a LOT of exploring/walking but if you like that sort of thing its AMAZING!

Mass Effect: Sci-fi story is a bit much at first especially with the codex but keep at it and youll be rewarded with an AMAZINGLY rewarding cinematic experience.

JRPG:
Final Fantasy games are NOT created equal my last fav. was X, Persona 4 has caught my eye, these are ps2 though dont know if you can play them an your ps3, for ps3 try "folklore"

play FFX it has good graphics an amazing story and awesome gameplay.

Depends on what you like. Do you want it story-based, free-roam or a mix of both?
Maybe turn-based combat turns you off, so you should try action, real-time RPGs. Do you want it to have realistic visuals or surreal ones? Do you want it to be dead-serious, light-hearted, comical or a mix of these? Sci-fi, medieval fantasy, original fantasy or real-world?

Surely you can´t answer all that and even if you do, without any previous experience, you could be wrong. Just try the opposite of what you didn´t like and iterate that until you found a group of RPGs that suit you.

Mass Effect is da way to go... I had to buy a 360 just to play it... damn Bioware WHERE IS MY KotOR!? TAKE THAT TOR AND SHUV IT! *runs away crying*

j-style rpg`s are not for everyone

w-style rpg`s are far more approachable, fallout 3 is very very good aswell is oblivion

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

because i find it annoying running and gunning nonstop.but i cant play jrpgs during the weekends or the summer

For WRPGs give The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion a try, it's a really fun game and you'll probably like it if you think Fallout 3 looks good (that's another good WRPG you should get).

Now JRPG, someone already asked this but it's pretty important if you say which Final Fantasy game you played, if any. Also give White Knight Chronicles a try when it's released to North America

And also you can try Kingdom Hearts for an ARPG
